This is a longitudinal study relating thought disorder, brain structure/function, and clinical outcomes in patients referred to the Prevention and Early Intervention in Psychoses Program (PEPP, London Ontario) who are at different stages of psychosis – high-risk, untreated first episode and >3 years of illness, as well as healthy controls. This study collected picture description speech data at 2 time points, Thought and Language Index scores, PANSS-8, Calgary Depression Scale scores as well as verbal fluency, modified digit symbol substitution test and Trail Making Test (B). 7 tesla MRI (structural, resting functional and glutamate spectroscopy from anterior cingulate cortex), social and occupational outcomes by 12 months (including educational status), DSM-5 diagnosis by consensus at 6-12 months and self-endorsed substance use data at baseline are also available.
